We've completely redesigned our Flaus Heads for ease of application and strength of floss. The Flaus Heads on the original model will not work on Flaus 2, but we encourage you to use them with your first model or become part of the Flaus Head Recycling Program and send them back to us, by emailing us at support@goflaus.com
Our Flaus heads will continue to use the highest performing glide floss in the market — a PTFE monofilament tape floss. This floss does not shred, and is the absolute thinnest-possible floss available so that it has the best chance of working for everyone (tight teeth and all).
Having said that, rumor has it that we're hard at work in the lab and alternative floss types just might be coming soon 🤫.

Bite Pad
Don't forget to use the bite pad! The bite pad (located on the back of the device) helps you move the Flaus Head in and out from between your teeth! Using the bite pad to bring the Flaus Head out from between your teeth helps control the pressure, which also prevents stretching the floss - making those Flaus heads last even longer!
Vibrations
Let the 18,000 sonic vibrations do the work for you when you're getting in-between those tight spaces! Flossing usually requires a bit of force, but Flaus has a more gentle take - be patient and don't force it!
Tight Spots
Do the tight spots last! Everyone's mouth is different, it's totally normal to have tight spots that might break the floss. As you continue to Flaus, you'll learn more about your mouth and learn what works for you!*Pro-Tip: prolong the life of your Flaus Head and leave those tight spots to last!
Don't worry! As soon as your Flaus 2 ships, we'll be sure to cancel any Flaus 1 subscriptions you have and transfer them to Flaus 2. Please contact us at support@goflaus.com if you have any concerns or questions on this.
