Samantha Coxe, Founder & CEO
Before Flaus, Sam never flossed. She lied to her dentist and came home with 9 cavities (and a massive dental bill 😩). She was desperate for a better way.
She loved her electric toothbrush and was a responsible twice-a-day brusher, but she knew she needed to floss more if she wanted to keep her pearly whites for life.
Flossing was painful, time-consuming, difficult and gross. Why couldn’t it be as quick, easy and comfortable as brushing your teeth? 🤔
So, ditching her corporate 9-to-5 to invent a better way to floss, she set her sights on disrupting the flossing world that had been unchanged for more than 200 years.
One of Sam’s life-long dreams came true when she pitched Flaus on Shark Tank in 2024. She received offers from three Shark investors before choosing Candace Nelson and closing the deal with a hug. Turns out, sharks floss too. 🦈

Don't forget to use the bite pad! The bite pad (located on the back of the device) helps you move the Flaus Head in and out from between your teeth! Using the bite pad to bring the Flaus Head out from between your teeth helps control the pressure, which also prevents stretching the floss - making those Flaus heads last even longer!
Vibrations
Let the 18,000 sonic vibrations do the work for you when you're getting in-between those tight spaces! Flossing usually requires a bit of force, but Flaus has a more gentle take - be patient and don't force it!

How does the subscription program work? Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
When you subscribe with Flaus, it means never running out of floss heads! Every three months, 90 floss heads will arrive at your door! Run out early or need to postpone? No problem! You can skip, cancel or pause your subscription online anytime after your first refill.
Will the heads be accepted at my local recycling facility? Is Flaus less wasteful than traditional flossing or floss picks?
Flaus reduces the amount of floss used in a traditional flossing session by 95% and our heads are made with recyclable plastic and use 30% less plastic than floss picks.
Every municipal recycling program is different, so we suggest gathering your Flaus Heads after use and emailing us at support@goflaus.com. We'll send you a pre-paid shipping label to send in your oral care products to a dedicated oral care recycling facility.
